Parish Resource Audit

Parishes are central to the mission and life of the church.  This is lived out in practice by the many ministries and activities which take place in parishes e.g., sacramental programmes, children’s liturgy, youth work, public worship, outreach to the sick and housebound, pastoral care of many vulnerable people and social events – to name but a few.   Most of these activities, supported by parish clergy, are led and run by amazing volunteers who generously and freely give their time and skills.  Clergy, volunteers and paid staff share a trust and responsibility to safeguard others and themselves and should be supported to do this.  As you may know there has been an independent review of safeguarding arrangements in the Catholic Church in England and Wales. You can learn more about the review by visiting www.catholicsafeguardingproject.org
