Confirmations  

In 2016 our Diocese decided to move the age of confirmation from year 3 to year 8.  Our plans to launch a new programme last year were affected by the pandemic, however, we hope to do this now.  Our Lady’s and St Gerard’s will be working in a parish cluster with St Patrick’s and St Mary’s parish Brownedge.  We are inviting any young people in year 8 and 9 (or older if they have not already been confirmed) to register to make the Sacrament of Confirmation next June.  The preparation course will begin soon.  Please complete the registration forms available at the back of church, on the parish website or Facebook page. Forms will also be distributed through the Catholic High Schools and can be returned to the parish or the High School.
