MARY, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD

There are many titles and feasts given to Mary, but today, as we complete the Octave of Christmas we celebrate her as “Theotokos”, “the bearer of God”. As we look forward in hope to a new year, may we be constantly reminded that one of our own kind participated with God’s holy will to allow God to enter our lives.   Like her may we respond to God’s will and treasure all these things and ponder them in our hearts.

Epiphany: Friday 6th Jan is the Feast of the Epiphany and is a Holy day of Obligation.  There will be a Vigil Mass at 6:30 pm on Thursday 5th and Mass at 9:15 am on 6th January.  There will also be a School Mass at 1:25 pm
