THE MOST HOLY BODY & BLOOD OF CHRIST
The Eucharist—the Body and Blood of Christ—is a profound mystery, far more than something we simply receive. It is a living relationship that transforms us: “Receive what you are—the Body of Christ.”
In the readings, we are reminded that through the Eucharist, Christ lives within us: “…who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in them.” Just as God once journeyed with His people and nourished them with manna, Jesus now walks with us, sharing His life through the gifts of the Last Supper. As Saint Paul teaches, this communion with Christ also unites us with one another, making us, together, His living Body—the Church.
