The Church dedicates the month of October to the Holy Rosary, one of the most cherished prayers in the Catholic tradition. During this month, we are invited to turn to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to reflect more deeply on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through the mysteries of the Rosary.

The Rosary is often described as a simple prayer, yet it is a profound way of growing closer to Christ. As we pray its familiar prayers, we are led to meditate on the key events of the Gospel and to see more clearly the love and mercy of God at work in our lives.

A prayer for October

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Help us to ponder the mysteries of Christ with faith and love, to trust in God’s plan for our lives, and to follow your Son more closely each day. Amen.
