News & Views April 2022

We are still a few weeks from Holy Week, when the Church celebrates the mysteries of Salvation accomplished by Christ in the last days of his earthly life, from the Messianic entry into Jerusalem, until his blessed Passion and glorious Resurrection.  Lent continues until Maundy Thursday 14th April – and begins the Easter Triduum with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper in our Church at 7 pm.  Followed by watching at the Altar of Repose until Compline at 8.55 pm.

The Triduum continues on Good Friday 15th April – we have Office & Morning Prayer of the Church at 10 a.m. followed at 3 pm by The Passion of the Lord.

It continues on Holy Saturday 16th April  –  we have Office & Morning Prayer of the Church 10 a.m. and the Easter Vigil  at –  7 p.m.

Easter Sunday  17th April –  Mass at 10 am

Easter Monday  –  Mass is at 9:15 a.m.
