News & Views April 2023 – Easter Services
In Holy Week, the Church celebrates the mysteries of Salvation accomplished by Christ in the last days of his earthly life, from the Messianic entry into Jerusalem, until his blessed Passion and glorious Resurrection
Lent continues until Maundy Thursday 6th April – and begins the Easter Triduum with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6 pm at St Gerard’s and 8 pm at St Mary’s.
The Triduum continues on Good Friday 7th April at 3 pm in both Churches with The Passion of the Lord.
It continues on Holy Saturday 8th April – the Easter Vigil at – 6 p.m. at St Gerard’s and 8 pm at St Mary’s.
Easter Sunday Masses in both Churches are as usual. 9:30 am at St Mary’s, 10:30 am at St Gerard’s, 6:30 pm at St Mary’s
